Datenspuren 2026

We want your talk at the Datenspuren 2026!

The Chaos Computer Club Dresden invites you to its annual hacker meeting under the motto ‘aufbrechen’. For the 22nd time, Datenspuren will take place in Dresden from 18 to 20 September 2026.
Let's 'aufbrechen' together: boxes, systems and into new worlds!

We need your help to make this happen! If you're ready to break out digitally and socially, send us your talks, workshops, music, art and anything else you want to contribute to Datenspuren.

We are currently planning three lecture rooms and space for workshops.

If you would like to help design the rooms or the courtyard, your ideas are also welcome. Show us what you want to exhibit or design. Art, light, exhibitions, performances, music? We look forward to it.

As in previous years, there will again be activities for children that you can help design.

And always remember: All creatures welcome!

Go ahead and submit your ideas!

Like so many other Chaos events, Datenspuren thrives on your contributions. We’d therefore love to hear from individuals and groups offering talks or workshops related to:

Surveillance, data protection, open data
Decentralised and critical infrastructure
Sustainability, circular economy
Justice, breaking down barriers
Young Hackers Track, soldering, programming, modelling

Your talk or workshop

Talks will be broadcast live from our stages and recorded, unless otherwise requested, and will last 30–45 minutes.
Workshops have their own rooms, are not broadcast and last between 1 and 3 hours, depending on the format.
Other formats (panel discussions, live podcasts, meetups, etc.) are also welcome and will be scheduled jointly.

Call for Artists

We are convinced that art and technology are not opposites, but complement each other to create something special.
We are therefore looking for art installations, music and other creative ideas to transform and shape Zentralwerk into a colourful, futuristic utopia inspired by data trails.

Possible submissions could include:

Music – everything from bands to quiet chamber music,
art installations ranging from light art to sculptures,
paintings, photographs and other pieces suitable for exhibition

Your art can:

Take place on one of our various stages, in our rooms or in the outdoor area.
Exhibitions can be set up across large parts of the site by arrangement.
We are particularly keen on interactive art that encourages participation.

Please feel free to get in touch and we’ll help you bring your idea to life.

Submissions close on 2026-08-15 23:59 (Europe/Berlin), 3 months, 4 weeks from now.
